Basset Health Concerns

Posted on February 6th, 2010 by admin

Basset hounds have lengthy ears, which in turn brings about a risk of ear conditions. Their ears shouldn’t be allowed to drag on the floor or even in their food dish. This in particular may cause many health conditions that may be deadly. They might also have eye issues too. Because of their droopy ears, the region below the actual eye balls might gather dirt and also result in disease. It’s necessary to clean their eyes every day to avoid this particular problem from occurring. If not properly exercised, the Basset hound may grow to be lazy as well as obese. It is crucial to provide them with daily walks.
